Athena

An update from her family: It has been 1 year since Athena joined our household and she has come a long way in that year. She has a great sense of adventure and loves the snow and sand and water. She loves going for rides on the lake on the paddleboard, she’s a great frisbee catcher, and she’s unstoppable with a ball. She makes up her own games to play and can keep herself busy. She has turned into a big cuddler and gives lots of love. She has also learned to just chill, and now she’ll nap on the floor while we work during the day, and after a nightly session of ball or frisbee at the park she’ll fall asleep on the couch. She is where she belongs and she’s definitely living her best life!  We thank everyone at C.A.R.E. for all the love and attention and training they did with her because it really helped her to be where she’s at today!
